Let me introduce pelmeni.

It’s origin dates back to Mongolian nomads, a time  where nomadic people travelled a lot and the conditions and time  was scarce, especially in the colder seasons.
Currently, pelmeni are very popular in Europe, Russia and Central Asia, among others. Each nation has their own way of making them.

Pelmeni are cooked really fast. It take approx. 7-8 minutes. They can be consumed as a soup, but they should NOT be blended. You can add any sauce : mayonnaise , ketchup , double or single cream or just butter. You can steam them (though this will take approx. 20 minutes) or fry them in oil on a frying pan. It is very convenient to have a frozen pack of pelmeni in your freezer. It’s meal for the whole family.
